Description
A delicious and indulgent Snickers Pie that combines creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate, and crunchy Snickers bars for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped Snickers bars (about 4 regular-sized bars)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully incorporated.
- Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
- While the pie is chilling, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Once the pie has set, remove it from the refrigerator and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top. Sprinkle the chopped Snickers bars evenly over the chocolate.
- Return the pie to the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
- For a crunchier texture, add chopped peanuts on top of the Snickers for extra crunch.
- Substitute the Snickers with your favorite candy bars, like Reese’s or Twix, for a different flavor twist.
