A refreshing and bubbly drink made with strawberries, ginger, and lemon, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 4 cups sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, lemon juice, honey, and grated ginger. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the seeds and pulp.
- Add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry ginger lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a more intense ginger flavor, increase the amount of grated ginger to 2 tablespoons.
- Substitute sparkling water with flavored sparkling water, such as lemon or lime, for an extra twist.
