Description

A delicious and easy-to-make breakfast roll filled with spinach, ham, and cheese, perfect for a tasty morning delight.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped spinach and sauté for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in the diced ham, sautéed spinach, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet, pressing the seams together to form a rectangle.
  5. Spread the egg mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough up into a log. Pinch the seams to seal.
  7. Place the roll seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute turkey ham for regular ham.
  • You can also add diced bell peppers or onions to the egg mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • If you prefer a vegetarian version, omit the ham and add more vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini.
