Ingredients
- 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped cabbage, carrots, red bell pepper, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For a protein boost, add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu during the stir-fry process.
- For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha sauce.
