Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    • In a small bowl, mix warm milk (110°F) with active dry yeast.
    • Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and granulated sugar.
    • Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture.
    • Mix until the dough starts coming together.
    • Knead for 8-10 minutes until soft and elastic.
    • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled.
  3. Make the Strawberry Filling:

    • Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
    • Let cool before spreading on dough.
  4. Roll Out the Dough:
    • Once risen, roll the dough into a large rectangle (1/4-inch thick).
    • Spread the strawberry filling evenly.
    • Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  5. Roll & Cut the Cinnamon Rolls:
    • Roll the dough tightly into a log.
    • Use a sharp knife to slice into 12 even rolls.
    • Arrange rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Second Rise & Bake:
    • Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes.
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the Vanilla Glaze:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract.
    • Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
