  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add the trimmed string beans to the skillet and stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using), stirring to coat the vegetables evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
