Description

A delicious recipe guide for making Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza with a cheesy crust and flavorful toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed (for the stuffed crust)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a large circle, about 14 inches in diameter.
  3. Place the cubed mozzarella cheese around the edge of the dough, leaving about an inch of space from the edge.
  4. Fold the edge of the dough over the cheese and press down to seal, creating a stuffed crust.
  5. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over the crust for added flavor.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes on top of the pepperoni.
  • Try different cheeses for the stuffed crust, such as cheddar or provolone, for a unique flavor twist.
