Description

These Orange BBQ Chicken Nuggets are sweet, tangy, and irresistibly sticky—in the best way! Crispy nuggets get tossed in a quick homemade sauce made from BBQ, orange marmalade, and soy sauce for a flavor-packed dish that’s perfect for parties, quick dinners, or game-day snacking. It’s fast, family-friendly, and utterly craveable.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups precooked chicken nuggets (frozen store-bought or homemade)

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s or your favorite brand)

  • 1 cup sweet orange marmalade

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil (optional, for extra flavor depth)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Nuggets
Prepare the frozen chicken nuggets according to package instructions until crispy and heated through. Homemade nuggets also work great.

  2. Make the Sauce
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, orange marmalade, soy sauce, and sesame oil (if using). Cover with a damp paper towel to avoid splatter.

  3. Heat the Sauce
Microwave the sauce mixture for about 45 seconds, or until warmed through and easy to stir.

  4. Toss to Coat
Place the cooked nuggets into a large bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the nuggets and toss gently until every piece is fully coated.

  5. Serve
Serve immediately with toothpicks for party bites or over rice for a meal. Optional: garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions.
