Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups potato chips, crushed slightly
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed potato chips. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the cereal and chips, and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the dish and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands to create an even layer.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting them into squares.

Notes
- For an extra crunch, add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or pretzels to the mixture before pressing it into the baking dish.
