Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and granulated sugar. Toss until the apples are well-coated.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the apple mixture in the center of each triangle, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce.
  4. Fold the edges of the crescent roll over the filling to form a ball, pinching the seams to seal tightly. Place the bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops of the bombs with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
