Ingredients
For the Mushroom Caps:
- Baby bella or cremini mushrooms
For the Savory Filling:
- Butter
- Onion, finely diced
- Garlic, minced
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- Cream cheese, softened
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Fresh parsley, chopped
For Cooking and Garnish:

- Extra parmesan and parsley for topping

Prepare the Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and remove the stems.
- Finely chop the stems and set aside to use in the filling.

Sauté the Filling:
- In a skillet, melt butter and cook the chopped mushroom stems until all moisture has evaporated.
- Add onion, garlic, salt, and pepper, cooking until the mixture softens.

- Transfer the cooked mixture to a bowl and let it cool slightly.
- Stir in cream cheese, parmesan, and chopped parsley until well combined.

- Sprinkle the stuffed mushrooms with extra parmesan and Panko breadcrumbs.

- Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 390°F. Spray the basket with oil and cook the mushrooms for 8 minutes until golden.
- Oven: Preheat to 400°F. Place mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
