Ingredients
- 1 lb cooked boneless, skinless chicken breast (chopped small)
- 2 cups cottage cheese (blend for a smoother texture if desired)
- 1 ¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- ¼ cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 green onion (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken, cottage cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a small casserole dish or any ovenproof dish. Smooth out the top and sprinkle with the remaining ¼ cup of cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
- For a crispy, golden top, broil for the last 1-2 minutes (watch carefully to avoid burning).
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with chopped green onion.
- Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers, or fresh veggie sticks.
