    • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • ½ cup milk
  • Fruits and Nuts:
    • 1 cup dried fruit mix
    • ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans)
    • ¼ cup candied red cherries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a loaf pan (grease and flour or line with parchment).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix gently.
  6. Fold in dried fruits and nuts evenly.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan, decorate with candied cherries.
  8. Bake for 70–80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
