Description
A decadent dessert combining layers of brownie, ice cream, and toppings for a delightful treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the package)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 4 Twix bars, chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Bake in a greased 8×8 inch pan and let cool completely.
- Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the brownie squares at the bottom.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie layer.
- Add a layer of chocolate ice cream, followed by a layer of vanilla ice cream.
- Spoon half of the whipped cream over the ice cream layers.
- Sprinkle half of the chopped Twix bars on top of the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie squares, caramel sauce, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chopped Twix bars.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top layer and sprinkle with crushed nuts if desired.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries if using. Serve immediately or chill for up to 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try using brownie bites instead of regular brownies.
- You can substitute the ice cream flavors with your favorites, such as cookies and cream or mint chocolate chip.
