Description

A decadent dessert combining layers of brownie, ice cream, and toppings for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the package)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate ice cream
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 4 Twix bars, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts (optional)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Bake in a greased 8×8 inch pan and let cool completely.
  2. Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares.
  3. In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the brownie squares at the bottom.
  4. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie layer.
  5. Add a layer of chocolate ice cream, followed by a layer of vanilla ice cream.
  6. Spoon half of the whipped cream over the ice cream layers.
  7. Sprinkle half of the chopped Twix bars on top of the whipped cream.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie squares, caramel sauce, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chopped Twix bars.
  9. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top layer and sprinkle with crushed nuts if desired.
  10. Garnish with maraschino cherries if using. Serve immediately or chill for up to 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try using brownie bites instead of regular brownies.
  • You can substitute the ice cream flavors with your favorites, such as cookies and cream or mint chocolate chip.
