Description
A rich and creamy cheesecake made with white chocolate and Golden Oreo cookies, perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
- 16 Golden Oreo cookies, crushed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 8 ounces white chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan with non-stick spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Golden Oreos and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until well combined.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Slowly pour in the melted white chocolate, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the sour cream and heavy cream until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust in the springform pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, garnish with white chocolate shavings on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of almond extract to the batter.
- You can also substitute the Golden Oreos with regular Oreos for a chocolate twist.
