A festive dessert delight perfect for the holiday season, featuring layers of pound cake, vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and festive toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pound cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding, prepared
  • 2 cups whipped cream, divided
  • 1 cup coconut flakes, sweetened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, halved
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of whipped cream with the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  2. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the pound cake layer.
  4. Add half of the whipped cream mixture on top of the pudding layer.
  5. Sprinkle half of the coconut flakes, cranberries, and toasted almonds over the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, pudding, whipped cream mixture, coconut flakes, cranberries, and almonds.
  7. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the top layer of the trifle.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
