Description

A delicious and visually stunning whole roasted cauliflower dish with a spicy Sriracha honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower (about 2 to 3 pounds)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, ensuring the head remains intact.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, Sriracha, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Place the cauliflower head on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the glaze generously over the entire surface of the cauliflower, making sure to get it into any crevices.
  5. Roast the cauliflower in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until it is tender and golden brown. Baste with additional glaze halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a milder version, reduce the amount of Sriracha or substitute it with a mild chili sauce.
  • You can also add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of roasting for a cheesy twist.
