A delicious and easy recipe for Air Fryer Apple Strudel, perfect for dessert lovers.
Ingredients
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and finely diced
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, lemon juice, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter. Layer the remaining sheets on top, brushing each with butter.
- Spoon the apple filling along one long edge of the dough, leaving a little space around the edges. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using.
- Fold the short sides inward, then carefully roll the dough into a log, enclosing the filling.
- Brush the outside with the remaining melted butter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for about 3 minutes.
- Place the strudel seam-side down in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 12–16 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Let it cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
