Description

Apple Cinnamon Cheesecake Crumble is a delicious dessert that combines a creamy cheesecake layer with a spiced apple filling and a crunchy crumble topping.

Ingredients

  • 200 g graham cracker crumbs
  • 60 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 40 g granulated sugar
  • 450 g cream cheese, softened
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120 g sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 15 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 g all-purpose flour
  • 70 g rolled oats
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 75 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 60 g chopped pecans or walnuts, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a 23 × 23 cm baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Make the crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Prepare the cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined. Stir in sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  5. Prepare the apples: Toss the diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, lemon juice, and vanilla. Spoon evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Make the crumble: Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts. Add melted butter and stir until coarse crumbs form.
  7. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the apples.
  8. Bake for 40–50 minutes, until the center is mostly set and the crumble is lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing.
  10. Cut into squares and serve chilled or slightly chilled.
