Description

A refreshing and crunchy Apple Cranberry Coleslaw that combines the sweetness of apples and cranberries with the crunch of cabbage and nuts, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 large apple, thinly sliced or julienned
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the green cabbage, red cabbage, apple, cranberries, carrots, nuts, and green onions to a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, honey, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture.
  4. Toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend.
  6. Give it another gentle toss just before serving.
