Description

Apple Snickers Salad is a delightful no-bake treat that combines the sweetness of apples and Snickers candy bars with a creamy pudding mixture, making it a perfect dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
  • 5 full-size Snickers candy bars, chopped
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate sauce for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples. Wash, core, and dice the apples into bite-sized pieces. Toss them with lemon juice to help prevent browning.
  2. Make the pudding mixture. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until the mixture begins to thicken.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping. Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the apples and Snickers. Stir in the diced apples and most of the chopped Snickers bars. Reserve a little of each for the topping.
  5. Add the caramel. Gently mix in the caramel sauce, or save it entirely for drizzling over the finished salad.
  6. Chill. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes to let the flavors come together.
  7. Garnish and serve. Sprinkle the reserved apples and Snickers over the top. Drizzle with extra caramel sauce and chocolate sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, add the peanuts just before serving.
  • This salad can be made a few hours in advance, but it’s best served fresh.
  • Feel free to customize with other toppings like crushed cookies or additional fruits.
