Description

Blueberry Cheesecake Rolls are a delightful treat combining the flavors of creamy cheesecake and fresh blueberries, all wrapped in a flaky crescent roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube (226 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8 rolls
  • 170 g cream cheese, softened
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • 5 mL (1 teaspoon) vanilla extract
  • 150 g fresh blueberries
  • 30 g all-purpose flour (for streusel topping)
  • 28 g unsalted butter, softened (for streusel topping)
  • 25 g granulated sugar (for streusel topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling: In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. Fill the rolls: Spread about 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling over the wide end of each triangle. Add several blueberries on top.
  5. Roll: Starting from the wide end, gently roll each triangle toward the pointed end. Tuck the edges slightly to help keep the filling inside.
  6. Make the streusel: Combine the flour, softened butter, and sugar with your fingers or a fork until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.
  7. Top the rolls: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the streusel evenly over each one.
  8. Bake: Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the crescent pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  9. Cool: Let the rolls cool for about 5–10 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve: Enjoy warm or at room temperature. For extra sweetness, drizzle with a simple powdered-sugar glaze.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the cheesecake filling.
  • These rolls can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free crescent roll dough.
