Description
A rich and indulgent Caramel Chocolate Coffee Cheesecake that combines the flavors of coffee, chocolate, and caramel for a delightful dessert experience.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and cooled coffee until fully combined.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Allow to cool slightly, then fold the melted chocolate into the cream cheese mixture until well incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the batter.
- To make it a bit lighter, substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream.
