Description

A festive cheesecake made with a sugar cookie crust and topped with whipped cream and holiday sprinkles, perfect for Christmas celebrations.

Ingredients

  • For the Crust
  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Christmas sugar cookie mix-ins or chopped sugar cookies
  • ½ cup red and green holiday sprinkles
  • For the Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles
  • 6–8 small Christmas sugar cookies
  • Red and green sanding sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Make the crust. Combine the crushed sugar cookies, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare the filling. Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined.
  4. Add the vanilla, sour cream, and flour. Mix until smooth, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chopped sugar cookies and Christmas sprinkles.
  6. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 55–65 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle.
  7. Turn off the oven, crack the oven door open, and let the cheesecake cool inside for about 1 hour.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours, preferably overnight, until completely set.
  9. Decorate with whipped cream, Christmas sprinkles, sanding sugar, and small sugar cookies before serving.

Notes

  • For clean slices, chill the cheesecake thoroughly and use a sharp knife warmed under hot water and wiped dry between cuts.
