Description
Cinnamon Roll Crescents are a delightful and easy-to-make pastry that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls with the convenience of crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
- 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Heat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the filling: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spread each triangle with softened butter, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Roll: Starting at the wide end, tightly roll each triangle toward the pointed end. Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet with the point tucked underneath.
- Bake: Bake for 10–13 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Make the glaze: Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Finish: Let the warm crescents cool for about 5 minutes, then drizzle generously with the cream cheese glaze.
- Serve: Enjoy warm for the best soft, buttery texture.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add chopped nuts to the filling.
- These crescents are best served warm but can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
