Description
Crispy Parmesan Cauliflower Bites are a delicious and crunchy snack or side dish, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
- Place the flour in a separate bowl.
- Whisk the eggs and milk together in another bowl.
- Coat each cauliflower floret in flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off.
- Press each piece firmly into the Parmesan-panko mixture until well coated.
- Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching carefully.
- Serve immediately with ranch, garlic aioli, marinara, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. Spacing the cauliflower pieces apart helps them crisp instead of steam.
