Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough. Unroll the crescent dough and press the pieces together to form one large circle. Place it on the pizza pan and gently stretch it into an even round.
- Add the butter. Brush the dough with the melted butter.
- Make the topping. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle evenly over the dough. Dot the surface with small pieces of softened butter and drizzle with vanilla extract.
- Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the crescent crust is puffed and golden brown.
- Make the glaze. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and drizzleable.
- Finish the dessert pizza. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm crust.
- Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Add chopped pecans, walnuts, sliced apples, or a light drizzle of caramel sauce before baking for an extra-special version.
