Description
Easy Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are a delicious and simple recipe that combines ground beef, cheese, and biscuit dough, all topped with a savory garlic Parmesan butter.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough, about 8 biscuits
- 2 tablespoons finely diced dill pickles, optional
- 2 tablespoons finely diced yellow onion, optional
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it into small crumbles. Drain excess grease. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Stir the shredded cheddar cheese into the cooled beef. Add the diced pickles and onions if desired.
- Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each biscuit into a circle large enough to hold the filling.
- Place about 2–3 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the edges up and over the filling, pinching firmly to seal. Place each bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
- Brush the tops of the dough balls with the garlic Parmesan butter. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the dough is puffed and golden brown and the centers are hot.
- Brush with a little more garlic Parmesan butter as soon as they come out of the oven. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
- Let the bombs cool for 3–5 minutes before serving. Pair them with burger sauce, ranch dressing, ketchup, or spicy mayo for dipping.
Notes
- Seal the dough tightly to keep the melted cheese and beef from leaking out.
- Cool the beef slightly before adding the cheese and filling the dough so the dough is easier to handle.
- Avoid overfilling the biscuits, which can cause them to burst while baking.
- Customize the cheese: Try mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack for a different flavor.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for a delicious, savory garlic butter topping.
