Description
A quick and delicious Garlic Broccoli & Mushroom Stir-Fry that combines fresh broccoli and mushrooms with a flavorful garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) broccoli florets
- 10 oz (285 g) sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook the broccoli: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little oil and stir-fry the broccoli for 4–5 minutes, until bright green and slightly tender.
- Add mushrooms: Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 4–5 minutes, until they soften and begin to brown.
- Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30–60 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the sauce: Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss well. Cook for 1–2 minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
- Serve: Enjoy hot as a side dish or serve over rice or noodles.
