Description
Garlic Parm Bacon Cheeseburger Fritters are a delicious and savory snack that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with the crispy texture of fritters.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs to the mixture and stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties or fritters, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Carefully place the fritters in the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them plain.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or chopped jalapeños to the mixture.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef for a lighter option.
