Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well.
- Add the bean sprouts to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the sprouts are tender but still crisp.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding sliced bell peppers or carrots to the stir-fry.
- Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
