Description
Magic Cookie Bars are a delightful dessert made with layers of chocolate, butterscotch, coconut, and pecans, all held together by a sweetened condensed milk topping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
Instructions
- Prepare the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Make the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly moistened. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan.
- Layer the toppings: Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the crust, followed by the butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans.
- Add condensed milk: Slowly drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire surface, covering the layers.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Cool completely: Let the bars cool in the pan for at least 1 hour before slicing. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
- Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy the chewy, chocolatey, nutty layers.
Notes
