Description

Delicious Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies combining rich brownie, creamy cheesecake, and a caramel swirl.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chopped Milky Way candy bars, about 2–3 bars
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup thick caramel sauce
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream, if needed to thin the caramel
  • 2–3 Milky Way candy bars, chopped
  • ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semisweet chocolate, then mix in sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then fold into the chocolate mixture along with chopped Milky Way bars.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add egg, vanilla, and flour.
  5. Spread two-thirds of the brownie batter in the pan, layer with cheesecake mixture, and top with remaining brownie batter and caramel sauce.
  6. Bake for 40–50 minutes until edges are set and center has a slight jiggle.
  7. For the topping, melt chocolate chips and heavy cream, drizzle over brownies, and add chopped Milky Way bars and caramel sauce.
  8. Chill for at least 2 hours, then slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overmix the brownie batter.
  • Let the brownies cool completely before adding the topping.
  • For best texture, allow brownies to sit at room temperature before serving.
