Description

Mini Apple Pies are delightful homemade treats made with crescent roll dough and apple pie filling, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and press pieces into the muffin cups, forming small pastry shells. Reserve some dough for lattice strips if desired.
  3. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and spoon evenly into each pastry shell.
  4. Arrange thin dough strips over the filling to create a lattice topping.
  5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if using.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Cool for 5–10 minutes before carefully removing from the muffin tin.

Notes

  • For a more intense flavor, consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the filling.
  • These mini pies can be served warm or at room temperature.
