Description

A delightful and easy-to-make No-Bake Banana Split Fluff dessert that combines the flavors of a classic banana split in a creamy, fluffy treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, with juice
  • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup maraschino cherries, drained and halved
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • ¼ cup sweetened shredded coconut, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding mixture. In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix with the entire can of crushed pineapple, including its juice. Stir until the pudding mix is fully dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pineapple mixture until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the fruit. Stir in the sliced bananas, chopped strawberries, and halved maraschino cherries. Make sure the cherries are well drained to avoid adding excess liquid.
  4. Mix in the extras. Fold in the mini marshmallows, chopped nuts, and shredded coconut, if using.
  5. Chill the fluff. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour so the mixture thickens and the flavors blend together.
  6. Add the finishing touches. Just before serving, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and garnish with extra strawberries, cherries, or chopped nuts.
  7. Serve cold. Spoon into dessert bowls or cups and enjoy this creamy banana split-inspired treat!

Notes

  • Add bananas just before serving to prevent browning.
  • Drain the cherries well to avoid excess liquid.
  • Fold gently to keep the whipped topping light and airy.
  • Customize your toppings with mini chocolate chips or caramel drizzle.
  • For extra crunch, add chocolate chips or crushed waffle cones.
