Description

Delicious Nutella Cheesecake Cupcakes that combine the rich flavors of Nutella and creamy cheesecake in a delightful cupcake form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (for topping)
  • Chopped hazelnuts (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press about 1 tablespoon of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each cupcake liner to form the crust. Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Add the powdered sugar, Nutella, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until fully incorporated.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream and heavy cream until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crusts, filling each liner about 3/4 full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cupcakes to cool in the oven for 30 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  11. Before serving, drizzle the chocolate hazelnut spread on top and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of espresso powder to the cheesecake batter.
  • Substitute the Nutella with any chocolate spread or cookie butter for a different taste.
