Delicious Nutella Cheesecake Cupcakes that combine the rich flavors of Nutella and creamy cheesecake in a delightful cupcake form.
Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (for topping)
- Chopped hazelnuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press about 1 tablespoon of the crumb mixture into the bottom of each cupcake liner to form the crust. Bake for 5 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, Nutella, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the sour cream and heavy cream until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crusts, filling each liner about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cupcakes to cool in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Before serving, drizzle the chocolate hazelnut spread on top and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of espresso powder to the cheesecake batter.
- Substitute the Nutella with any chocolate spread or cookie butter for a different taste.
