Description

Delicious Oreo Cheesecake Cookies that combine the rich flavors of cheesecake and Oreo cookies in a delightful treat.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups Oreo cookie crumbs, divided
  • 1012 Oreo cookies, roughly crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and beat for another 1–2 minutes until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the flour and mix just until incorporated. Don’t overmix.
  4. Fold about ½ cup of the crushed Oreo pieces into the dough and place the remaining Oreo crumbs in a shallow bowl.
  5. Scoop approximately 1½ tablespoons of dough and roll into a ball. Roll each dough ball generously in the Oreo crumbs, coating all sides. Place on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart and gently flatten each ball slightly with your fingers.
  6. Bake for 14–16 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to set and the bottoms are lightly golden. The centers should still look soft. Don’t overbake—the cookies will firm up as they cool.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and allow them to cool completely.

Notes

  • Ensure the butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • Do not overbake the cookies to maintain a soft center.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
