Description
Peanut Butter and Jelly Pie is a delicious no-bake treat that combines the classic flavors of peanut butter and jelly in a creamy, delightful dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup grape or strawberry jelly
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, whipped topping, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
- Once the crust has cooled, spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the bottom of the crust.
- Gently heat the jelly in a small saucepan over low heat until it becomes pourable, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Pour the warmed jelly over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly to cover.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, use chocolate peanut butter and top with chocolate syrup instead of jelly.
- Add chopped peanuts or mini chocolate chips to the peanut butter layer for extra texture and flavor.
