Description

Peanut Butter and Jelly Pie is a delicious no-bake treat that combines the classic flavors of peanut butter and jelly in a creamy, delightful dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup grape or strawberry jelly
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, whipped topping, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Once the crust has cooled, spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the bottom of the crust.
  4. Gently heat the jelly in a small saucepan over low heat until it becomes pourable, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. Pour the warmed jelly over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly to cover.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours to allow it to set before serving.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, use chocolate peanut butter and top with chocolate syrup instead of jelly.
  • Add chopped peanuts or mini chocolate chips to the peanut butter layer for extra texture and flavor.
