A festive and delicious Pecan Cranberry Holiday Cheeseball that is perfect for entertaining guests during the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
- ½ cup pecans, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons green onions, finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- For the Coating:
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cheddar cheese, cranberries, pecans, green onions, honey, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until firm enough to shape.
- Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap and shape it into a ball. Chill for another 30 minutes if needed.
- Combine the coating ingredients in a shallow dish.
- Roll the cheeseball in the pecan-cranberry mixture, gently pressing so the coating sticks evenly.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Let it sit at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes before serving.
