Pecan Pie Lasagna is a deliciously unique dessert that combines the flavors of traditional pecan pie with a layered lasagna format, featuring a creamy filling and a crunchy crust.
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup additional whipped topping for garnish
- Whole pecans for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly bubbly. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill completely.
- Before serving, spread the additional whipped topping over the top and garnish with whole pecans.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of bourbon to the pecan mixture.
- You can also substitute the graham cracker crust with a store-bought pie crust for a different texture.
