Description

Pecan Pie Lasagna is a deliciously unique dessert that combines the flavors of traditional pecan pie with a layered lasagna format, featuring a creamy filling and a crunchy crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup additional whipped topping for garnish
  • Whole pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  4. Pour the pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly bubbly. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill completely.
  6. Before serving, spread the additional whipped topping over the top and garnish with whole pecans.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of bourbon to the pecan mixture.
  • You can also substitute the graham cracker crust with a store-bought pie crust for a different texture.
