Description
Pineapple Pretzel Fluff Salad is a delightful and easy treat that combines the salty crunch of pretzels with the sweetness of pineapple and cream cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 20 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well until the pretzels are evenly coated.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping, drained crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using) until well combined.
- Spread the pineapple mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the salad to set.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
- You can also add fresh fruit like strawberries or blueberries for a colorful twist.
