Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  3. Add the asparagus and sauté for 4–6 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in the garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
