A delicious blend of sweet and spicy flavors, these Raspberry Jalapeño Poppers are perfect for a party or a tasty snack.
Ingredients
- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup raspberry preserves
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey Jack, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Spoon the cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeño half.
- Top each popper with a small spoonful of raspberry preserves, spreading it gently over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the poppers.
- Mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over each popper.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra sweetness and heat, drizzle a little warmed raspberry preserves over the finished poppers just before serving.
