Description
A delicious one-pan meal featuring ground turkey, fresh spinach, and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cups fresh spinach
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, optional
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Add onion and mushrooms. Cook for 4–5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and lightly browned. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add the spinach a handful at a time, stirring until wilted.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce is creamy and slightly thickened.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

- Serve hot over rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or with crusty bread.
