- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Sauté one finely chopped onion for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add one tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Cook two chopped tomatoes for 5-7 minutes until softened and oil separates.
- Stir in ½ teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, and salt to taste, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add 500 grams minced meat and cook for 8-10 minutes until browned.
- Incorporate two diced potatoes and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in one cup of water, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Season with 1 teaspoon garam masala, mixing well and cooking uncovered for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and slit green chilies. Serve hot.
