- Cut the chicken breast into nugget-sized pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs for the egg wash. Dip each chicken piece in the egg and then in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Let the coated nuggets rest for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the nuggets on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
