Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup almond flour optional for topping
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil optional for topping
  • Fresh basil for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the chicken mixture.
  5. If using, mix the almond flour with olive oil in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the cheese layer for added crunch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
