  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter for swimming (melted)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and milk together. Pour this mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the biscuit batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the batter.
