In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, oregano, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a large skillet, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.
Carefully add the meatballs to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or over pasta.
