  • 4 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Chives finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dill fresh or substitute with parsley
  • 1 tsp Ground Pepper freshly ground
For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices Whole Wheat Bread lightly toasted
  • 2 large Tomatoes ripe heirloom or Roma, sliced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend together softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Stir in finely chopped chives, dill, and ground pepper until well combined.
  3. Preheat your toaster to a medium setting and lightly toast the whole wheat bread for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Carefully slice the tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  5. Spread the creamy herbed mixture on one slice of the toasted bread and layer with sliced tomatoes.
  6. Top with another slice of toast, then slice diagonally to serve.
